Trump's first and most authentic response was '....many fine people on both sides'. He lied about not knowing who David duke was.
Trump always has to be dragged to a more proper response, because those responses are NOT his.
The day after Trump stood next to his handler Putin and said 'I don't know why they would interfere...' and 'Putin was very strong, very powerful in his denials', Trump not very credibly changed his wording.
