Let's see how this works

Let's see how it's ACCEPTED! Those are severe measures taken. I couldn't imagine how it would go over here in parts of this country.

I hear Sweden is looking at similar measures.

Rugby Fans? Full Crowd Of 50,000 Expected For Rugby League’s State Of Origin, The World’s Greatest All-Star Game

"Live updates - South Australians rush to stock up ahead of six-day lockdown as Adelaide cluster grows"

You deserve a break Australia. It will likely be a top game and maybe available to any keen fans in America.

For rugby league fans, it doesn’t get much better than State of Origin. It’s the toughest, fastest, most competitive, most dramatic and you get the message—it stops the rugby league world. Origin might be the only all-star game in world sport that actually matters, where all the league’s best players are on show and the result is vital. Tomorrow will be a decider, too, the third game in a series that is currently tied one all.

Just when you thought the game couldn’t get bigger, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced last Friday that, for the first time in months, all COVID-19 restrictions will be relaxed and a full crowd will be allowed in at Brisbane’s iconic Suncorp Stadium to see the game.

Australia has coped better than most with the pandemic—aided, of course, by being miles away from anywhere—but that isn’t to say that they weren’t affected. All sports stopped, and when they came back, fans were replaced by cardboard cutouts like everywhere else. For so long, it seemed like Origin 2020 might end up as something of an afterthought, shunted to the end of the season, or not even happen at all.

Now, we’re all set for a Game Three, State of Origin decider, with favorites New South Wales traveling to underdogs Queensland, with the most famous stadium in the sport packed to the rafters for the first time in forever, as the year’s final act. It’s a big deal, to say the least.

Suncorp Stadium, or Lang Park, as tragics such as myself still call it, is rugby league’s mecca. Sure, the game may have been founded in England’s cold North, but it has been oriented around Australia for decades now, and no stadium can claim as many memories and so many great figures as Lang Park.

Adelaide doesn't actually meet the Commonwealth's definition of a COVID hotspot

And they're doing this because they don't want to be one.
Why is that so hard of a concept?

Video - Coronavirus: SA man exposed for deliberately misleading contact tracers

Police in South Australia have formed a taskforce that will investigate circumstances surrounding false information that led to the state going back into coronavirus lockdown.

South Australia's hard lockdown .. https://www.9news.com.au/national/coronavirus-south-australia-lockdown-impact-on-businesses-pubs-gyms-hotels-struggling/a02d271d-41ef-453b-9a79-bd84f3b08992 .. was eased sooner than planned following revelations a close contact linked to the Woodville pizza bar deliberately misled the state's contract tracing team.

"It's very clear that at least one person has not told the truth in regards to contact tracing," taskforce head Inspector Peter Harvey said.

"I'm confident we will get to an answer in a short amount of time."

Police could not confirm if the investigation is looking at criminal charges, but Inspector Harvey said "no stone would be left unturned".

Although some restrictions have lifted, others will remain from 11.59pm on Saturday, Premier Steven Marshall announced.

Three new coronavirus cases were confirmed overnight, however all were already in quarantine.
