Mandatory mask wearing, from my understanding, is only for when you're in contact with other people, not if your alone in the middle of a field. And they're not being worn responsibly everywhere here. In the south, hardly anyone wears them. My sister gets looks everywhere she goes in rural Georgia. Some actually mock her.
My friend just went for testing because some idiot coworker attended a Halloween party where no one was wearing masks. The tester asked him why he was being tested and he told her. She just said "Oh". Didn't ask for the idiot's name to do a tracing.
I'll be down in Georgia in a couple of weeks and it'll be interesting to see how many people are wearing masks down there when a national mandate goes into effect. And what happens when they don't wear them.
