Ganesh Ram Visweswaran, PhD Research Scientist III Ganesh Ram Viswesvaran Dr. Ganesh Ram Visweswaran graduated from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, where he studied the functionalities and biochemical properties of bacterial cell wall hydrolases and their -binding domains. His research interests include infection biology and vaccine development. As a postdoctoral fellow (University of Oslo, Norway), he worked on DNA–vaccine development projects for Malaria. He also possesses about two years of industrial experience (Novozymes and Biocon), working on enzyme engineering and process development projects. He joined the Sather Lab in March 2019. His work is focused on the development of malaria vaccines targeting the pre-erythrocytic phase of Plasmodium vivax to address relapse infections.
