Feb 21, 2009 · For example, intact virions of inactivated Hepatitis A virus (HAV) have been non-covalently coupled to the surface of the virosomes. The virosome-formulated HAV vaccine induced seroconversion in 100% of vaccinees with high and long-lasting HAV-specific antibody titres. The vaccine is marketed in several countries under the name Epaxal ®. 4.2.
