Hey you need at least 2 cans of MACE. One for each hand. We'll see how the election goes next week. Hopefully there's a clear winner (whoever it is) and there won't be mass protests in the streets. Mace could also be handy for Black Friday shopping. That baby yoda was MINE. And don't forget about mace for Christmas. Makes the perfect stocking stuffer!

Pepper spray has a limited shelf life. You really need to replace it every 18 months or so if you want it to work.

That doesn't mean people will of course, especially if its more about a feeling of security than actual security.

Yes, they also advise users to test the dispenser every six months or so for function.

I fondly recall cleaning my mothers car in way back in the 1980s and finding her Mace keychain and leaving it out for her with the other random things I found in between the seats. She came to check my progress, found the Mace keychain, and recalled that the instructions advised her to periodically test the dispenser and sprayed some up in the air away from the car, on a fairly windy day, and it blew right back into my face....it was instantly unpleasant...although it was only a fraction of what a direct spray would be. ...as it turns out, the only person she ever sprayed with that key chain was me, thank goodness!


It was memorable....and was my Dad's favorite family anecdotes for years.
