I feel its more about not wanting the pps to rise. It will draw in different/better traders/investors. It would be logical to surmise traders/investors would like a stock to rise.

Isn't that the name of the game? Or is it to just stay in a narrow channel and never grow and get ahead? I guess some don't like change.

That is blatently false... they do not care about an individual stock being successful. They just want to recover in the event they were issuing naked shares during a run... that is on them.

Traders are different...
