and that was the part outside of IRAs -- two IRAS held about 1500 and 500 but of course there was no tax owed ----- given I called the payments Rollovers (as those checks -- not in the non IRA !! -- were made out to the brokerage)

that 24-28 thousand or so helped cover a lot of the pain I had with common and JPS - might have made me about even (when I add in the original value of the COOP stock)

so back to the cap

seems from that math - which I think is pretty accurate

the value of 1400 shares went from 4,730 or 3.25 PPS to about 16,500 or about 11.80 PPS

likely - as there was always a drop of interest (especially when we owned the 11% mortgage paper) that might have been 11 in PPS equivalent and 80 cents in interest -- but the 1099 I got (for $16,508) called all it Long Term gain on sales

DNU

I bought in two batches the first at $4.23 or so and the second at $1.28.

I was more than pleased with the outcome of my PIERS.

I held in my and my wifes ROTH's so TAXES were never an issue for us

Getting the 13% BONDS was a very nice payout for us.

Wished we could have kept the BONDS but as you know we were forced to turn in the BONDS whenever WMIH wished to cash them out.

We held about 1500/1600 in each account so my out put was approximately $8393.00 which turned to yield $33232.00 not too shabby if I do say.
