Let me share a story about that.
I was visiting her that afternoon, and my daughters were going to come after I left. But my wife died in the meantime.
So Wednesday night, as my older daughter was in the lobby, where a lot of the patients liked to hang out, and she was going through the Covid checklist, an elderly man who always seemed to be sitting in the lobby whenever I got there, and who spoke nothing but gibberish, said in a loud, clear voice, "I am home now. I've crossed-over. I just wanted you to know that I love you."
It shocked the staff who were assisting my daughter checking-in. I told my daughter that that was something special and it should be cherished.
