I don't know who was responsible for publishing what seems to be false information of net profits of about 15 million dollars.

Legally speaking, the COMPANY was responsible for it since it appeared on the corporate website, no matter who physically posted it there. There may also be some personal liability on the part of someone involved in "concocting" those numbers, but the company is ultimately responsible.
