Dude some of those addicts are chemically dependent...Meaning their physiology has adjusted to their drug of choice and they have severe adverse reactions without their fix...Initially if there is no chemical dependence maybe tough love works but once chemical dependence sets in a intervention with around the clock monitoring is required...
