Your school teacher. I was amazed when i said to a colleague i'd known for years when he said he was a racist.

He said, "I had a bad experience with an aboriginal. You don't know them."

A bit shocked i said, "Warren. that sounds racist."

He: "I am."

Me: "Well that's just stupid to make generalizations like that."

And thought that explains why you were always only a colleague and never a friend.
