I have not done an analysis of Trump's business tax returns, so, perhaps you could explain to me what fraud Trump may have committed.

You would have been an ideal greeter at the now closed doors of Dump University.

If Trump fraudulently filed taxes --that is a crime. If he legally avoided taxes-- that is not a crime.

If the tsx laws he used seem to be unfair to that large group of taxpayers that are NOT real estate developers, then we need to change those laws (or the tax code).

But just because an aggressive interpretation and filing of taxes is not, in and of itself, illegal.

Now, his lengthy audit may determine that a write off has been disallowed, in which a substantial payment would be forthcoming. But that determination comes at the end of a complete audit.

I, for one, would like to see a HUGE rewrite of tax laws regarding depreciation. And a significant rewrite of business deductions allowable. And their specific limits.

ForReal, topdawg tdr, Why Do People Want to See Donald Trump’s Tax Returns?

Tradition as to what presidents have always done, and respect for that. Did Trump overvalue any of his properties
in order to fraudulently gain loans after his father Fred could no longer bail him out of business failure bankruptcies?

Never-before-seen Trump tax docs show his company made
his financial situation look worse when he was reporting it for
tax purposes, and better when reporting it to lenders.
