Coordinated collaborative projects between Texas Biomed, SNPRC, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, UTHSCSA, and New Iberia Research Center.

Coordinated and executed a collaborative study between Texas Biomed, Mymetics Inc, and SNPRC that was funded by Bill & Melinda Gates foundation (https://www.txbiomed.org/news-press/news-releases/mymetics-hiv-vaccine-candidate-confirms-promise-preclinical-study-texas-biomed/). Recently, NIH has supported continuation of next phase of this study by funding >7.5 million USD for next 5 years.

Prepared drafts of grant applications, research articles, project reports, SOPs, and IACUC submissions.

Trained technical staff, graduate students, and interns.

Developed flow cytometry assay for quantitation of MHC tetramer binding, vaccine-induced CD8+ T cells, and for monitoring of absolute counts of T and B cells in macaques that were administered with anti-CD8 antibody and rituximab.
