As noted, five months isn't a lot to design the study, locate institutions to participate, have institutions design internal study protocols, staffing regimens and drug formularies, locate study monitors, start lining up patients, secure product, and on and on. I have said too much of this before. Sorry. But really. Five months and then we as IPIX holders are to get updates, what about AS holders? A recent pharma report listed an average of over one billion in costs and 10 years in time to get a drug to market. I've heard these type of long ball estimates before and have always assumed they were excessive, and still do. But expecting so much in 5 months after a corona event just does not seem realistic.
