Doesn't "consistent" imply a fair price?

PS hope the big winners here share some of their trove with those in need.

FWIW - Have we been screwed??

First, Congratulations to you and other owners of MNTA shares or options.

Second, It's equally or more probable that you've been rescued.
A never ending stream of secondaries and dilutions could reasonably have been expected without the JNJ rescue.

Third, how many drugs has the FDA approved in the last decade with an unknown mechanism of action and an unpredictable dosage effect? Getting an approved drug any time soon is far from a sure thing.

Fourth, do you know of any other company that has got 2 FDA approvals and ended up paying the company that infringed a patent on the first one damages as they watched the drugs price approach cost; and never got to manufacture & sell any of the second drug until the market was overcrowded. There's no certainty that MNTA would have done a better job of protecting its IP in the future.

IMO, you could just as easily feel that you dodged a bullet as being screwed.

Boeing, In 2001, I very quickly learned that the only thing worse than having to pay taxes (on capital gains if I'd sold in 2000) was not having to pay any taxes whatsoever (on those same capital gains which disappeared unrealized).
