But many handled it far better than Trump and the governors of FL, GA, TX and AZ in particular.

What's the common denominator in Fauci and in the other governors and mayors who are performing better? They f'ing LEARN from what works, what doesn't work and most importantly, from changing circumstances……...spikes. Trump and his GOP supporters are NOT a learning machine.

(Fauci recommended against masks for the general populace for fear of a shortage for emergency responders and he changed course when masks became more available. What else do you claim he did wrong?)

That's called the scientific method. 'It will go away when it gets warm, we don't need to wear masks in the WH or in certain congressional offices, holding rallies, opening businesses too early, it's a Dem hoax, the numbers are inflated'; are junk science pronouncements and magical, wishful, thinking from Trump and his supporters

Trump placed the economy and his election over the science and ironically, appropriately, got the worst of all possible worlds; more preventable C-19 cases and deaths, a trashed economy and a looming and almost certainly humiliating defeat for reelection.

Only you suggest bureaucrats are always right. Fauci's advice has been
consistent with that of health experts at the time. Trump's hasn't been.

New Zealand had 102 days without one new case. Now they have 56 ..

To be fair you should compare Trump's and Bolsonaro's handling of it with Arden's when you make comparisons.
