Dilution's bad because more shares are issued, reducing everyone's percentage ownership.

Sort of like having a 12 slice pizza. Then suddenly all the slices get cut in half, making 24 slices. So now your slice is smaller than before, and you have 1/24 of the pizze instead of 1/12.
