Well how many times must RC say “6-8 million” before his words get accepted by the investment community? Obviously they have meant nothing up to this point? Why? Doubt? Where is a PR about July sales like RC did for June? That wouldn’t violate the silent period! Clark’s list of excuses regarding false sales predictions is coming whether longs like it or not! I've see it take place a few times over the past 25 years... It's weird in that:
The Market Makers yield (quit their resistance struggle with the spread), and basically roll over & allow (or place) the share price at the tender offer price. Usually within two (2) trading days the PPS is there, and then it just stays there until the deal is done.
