Ok I may be out of my league here but I'll give it a shot anyway. From my limited understanding ALL shorting starts as naked (ftd). As time goes on MOST shares are eventually accounted for.
Being that shorts are the kind of people who take advantage of runups (buy on the rumor sell on the news), it doesn't surprise me that they would start selling almost as the ink is drying.
The real issue for me is....the short selling here, is it any different or noticeably different from other stocks in a similar position? I don't know. What I do know is that there's always excuses for stocks that are not performing the way the fans want them to. In my view, Sint is no different than the others in that regard. Hardly any blame is leveled at company management for dismal performance...here and elsewhere.
