Doesn't seem to matter if it is good news or bad news the markets reaction is to go higher no matter what.
Maybe we should just shut down the economy for the rest of the year so the markets can go even higher. LOL
I wonder how many big businesses are now realizing that they don't need to pay big bucks for large offices that they may not need anymore?
I know a couple of people that didn't want to go back to work since they were making more money on unemployment, but now that extra $600/wk is over and they are finding out that their jobs are no longer available since employers needed to fill their positions.
Now that schools are closed we have to pay $1,000.00 a month to put our daughter in day care. So for a lot of families, it is very costly to have the schools closed.
Sure seems like the rich get richer and the poor are getting poorer. Most young people don't have an investment in the stock market, so they are not benefitting from higher stock market prices, but have to spend more now just to get by in life.
