Army 'service' - approximately 1991 or 1992 to 1995

Caper for which Nathan was sentenced to 51 months concluded in 1996-7. The amended judgment was filed in July 2003. The Brief for the United States in Nathan's appeal provides a thorough account. Keep in mind that Nathan was just one of a number of defendants in the conspiracy, most of whom pleaded guilty, but not Nathan. Unlike TV trials, real justice generally takes YEARS to conclude.

Nonetheless, after all his motions and an appeal, Nathan was found guilty. Despite what some have claimed on this board in the past, NH was NOT pardoned. He did have his rights restored some time after his incarceration, but only as part of a mass restoration of rights in Virginia and not because he is/was special.

BTW, this board went over all of this exactly FIVE years ago - July 2015! Everything old is new again. Sigh.

FYI Update: from a 2014 PR from one of Nathan's other pink stock capers:

Nathan was honorably discharged from the US Army Reserves September 1999.

Nathan's was indicted on May 26, 1999.

I can do the math.
