I'm the one who looks at this slide they used to raise money and 2005 and thinks:

"It takes 8-12 years to get a drug from start through full FDA approval, but they were promising to have three such drugs withing 4 years.

Hey. That can't be true no matter how lucky and efficient they are!

Are they telling lies for the purpose of misleading investors? Or do they simple know less about drug development than my cleaning lady?"

And I look again 15 years later and say:

"Hey, it's 15 years later. Never mind three fully approved drugs by 2009. They haven't even managed to file a SINGLE IND application!!! WTF?!?!?!"
