Our Expertise Steven R. Peacock – Managing Director
Steven R. Peacock possesses over 30 years of business experience in both the public and private sectors. During this time, Mr. Peacock has demonstrated an expertise in assisting executives and their companies achieve their full potential. A problem solver and creative thinker with strong people skills, Mr. Peacock has developed a vast network of professional contacts in the business community.
Mr. Peacock’s experience in diverse business settings has contributed to his extensive working knowledge in real estate, commercial insurance, minor league professional sports, public relations, e-commerce and capital formation. He has spent over a decade in the public marketplace, serving in both key management positions (CEO/Director) and as a consultant assisting companies with critical aspects of their operations, such as capital raising, business development, and mergers and acquisitions.
He was directly responsible for raising over $10 million into micro-cap public companies through the use of registration statements filed with the S.E.C. or through appropriate exemptions from registration and for raising over $150 MM in real estate development including land, home construction and inner city rehabilitation. Mr. Peacock has an extensive working knowledge of S.E.C. regulations, filings, and compliance for both 1934 Act and 1940 Act companies. He is experienced in mergers and acquisitions and has specialized in reverse mergers and structuring investments by Business Development Companies.
Ken Wiedrich - President and Director of Operations
Ken Wiedrich has over 30 years experience in operational accounting and finance functions in a variety of businesses within the service, construction and manufacturing industries, as well as the financial oversight of numerous publicly traded companies.
As chief financial officer of RI-Tech, Inc. from 1989 to 1998, Mr. Wiedrich was responsible for management of all government contracts, as well as the financial and accounting aspects of the company. He has extensive experience with government cost accounting methods and all related government acquisition regulations.
Mr. Wiedrich has served as an independent insurance inspector, providing personal lines loss-control inspections for several inspection service companies.
Since joining Javelin Advisory Group in 2003, Mr. Wiedrich served as the company’s Controller, managing all internal aspects of client companies’ quarterly reporting and annual audit procedures. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of three public companies as part of the management services provided by Javelin Advisory Group.
Lisa Martinez - Director of Accounting
Lisa Martinez has worked in the accounting field for over 25 years with experience in handling a multitude of tasks for public and private accounting. Mrs. Martinez manages the accounting for multiple public companies and their private subsidiaries.
Mrs. Martinez started her career in Yosemite National Park, living there for 7 years and working in accounting for the company that managed the park operations. After Yosemite, she worked for Universal Studios Tour in Divisional Controller’s office as Administrative Assistant.
After relocating to Southern California, Mrs. Martinez began working for Peacock Financial, a publicly traded investment fund, where she served as Corporate Secretary and handled accounting for both the company and its portfolio companies. When Javelin Advisory Group was founded, Mrs. Martinez came aboard as Office manager and Staff Accountant. In addition to her accounting work for Javelin Advisory Group, Mrs. Martinez handles accounting for public client companies and their private subsidiaries.
Mrs. Martinez also has extensive experience with stock transactions, including managing communication with public companies’ transfer agents and coordinating proxy efforts for annual and special meetings of shareholders.
Trisha Bollman - Director of Compliance
Trisha Bollman has participated in the formation and development of several successful ventures within the investment banking industry, both in the public and private sectors. Licensed with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) from 1994 to 1997, Ms. Bollman has extensive experience in public relations, capital raising and S.E.C. compliance.
In 1994, Ms. Bollman formed a broker-dealer firm in Dallas, Texas, establishing and managing the trading department for several years. She also founded and served as President of Pacific Capital Relations, a public relations and capital raising firm.
Ms. Bollman was a founder and served as Officer, Director and Controller of US Farms, Inc. (USFI), where she was responsible for implementing the vision and direction of the company. USFI became a publicly traded company through a reverse merger. Ms. Bollman served with the company when it purchased and operated an A-League soccer franchise. Ms. Bollman also established 90 Minutes Soccer, a high-end monthly print publication, where she handled all distribution and some marketing.
Shane Traveller - CPA (retired)
One of the founding partners of Javelin, Mr. Traveller now serves as a special advisor to Mr. Peacock specializing in deal structure, SEC compliance and operational management. A retired CPA, Mr. Traveller has served as CEO or CFO for several public companies over his career, including both OTCBB and Nasdaq National Market listed businesses. He has put together numerous mergers, reverse mergers, IPO's, acquisitions and financings. , Mr. Traveller assists Javelin clients with deal structure and negotiation, SEC compliance, internal and operational controls. With a history as a "clean up specialist", Mr. Traveller oversees company turn-around projects and corporate restructuring.
