The trademark registration will take months and could take up to a year assuming it's not contested and is allowed, it has nothing to do with the delay.
Plus they're already using the mark, so they have the rights to it even without it being registered yet, again assuming no one contests it or the USPTO deems it too generic to grant.
You’re welcome. Yes I do think this was the reason for delay but their could be other reasons as well but this certainly seems to be one of them. We found out earlier that TU did not come on board last minute as they were involved since April so them coming on board last minute is not the reason for the delay IMO and on a side note knowing that TU has been involved since April behind the scenes makes me feel even more comfortable about the possibility of the merger with CLX and PASO because they could’ve shut down the possibility for the merger at anytime since their involvement back in April but instead allowed for CLX to ask PASO for an extension until they are fully prepared to go public which looks like it will be in Q4
