that made my hair stand up on end...ohhhhhhhhh

i was sitting on a board in between sets down near devil's punchbowl on the central oregon coast a few years ago, and under my board comes what i think was about an 8-10 foot great white..circled around a few times and that was the scariest moment to paddle in trying to rotate my body so he'd miss my ribcage if he took a bite..

the worst part, a surfer had been attacked about 3 miles away, a few months prior and pulled right to the bottom and drug along...so it made it that much worse..

i've really had a tough time getting out in the water without my eyes playing tricks on me now...and so it's been really nice to stay ABOVE water level on the wave runners...

that powered surfboard must be incredible..
