#26662 RE: e-ore #26661

Seriously, how do they accept an order?

you check a box on order entry, and Uber is notified that delivery is requested, and a driver accepts assignment.

In this case, a drone would be assigned, and programmed with the delivery coordinates.

it would all be automated eventually.

Right now, there are how many available Uber Eats drivers in my
town. Probably one within a mile or two.

... with drones, as fast as they are, as long as there is one within
three miles or so it would be hovering to pick up the package before the food was ready.

Additionally, if any business had the volume to make it worthwhile, drones could be dedicated to that business.

Deuce has no moat, and they need to develop one. Not only dont they have a moat, they have vulnerabilities.

Uber Eats can deliver anywhere. They can deliver via drone when it makes sense or is viable, and where its not, they can deliver product via drone to a delivery vehicle.

Additionally, if you own a nationwide chain, youre probably looking for a one provider solution. Uber is planning on doing urban deliveries, in addition to less dense areas.

dont get me wrong, I am not an Uber fan, and dont think the company should even exist.

.. but they are an example of why Deuce needs to change tack.

"And how would an Uber eats drone accept a delivery order for Buffalo Wild Wings?"
