To a layman, viral load reduction is reduction, and a 95% and 97% reduction is a reduction regardless of what it’s compared to. The comparator had no reduction. What am I missing?
Thank you for the reply. I wonder if we can imagine it as follows: 100M units of virus - introduce B - 95-97M destroyed. I know that is NOT how this particular experiment was set up, (and overall it is more complicated) but for the lay people - does this get the general idea across? The language used in the release is not equivalent to "kills 95-97% of virus present" imo.
