Lobbying dollars. IPIX doesn't pay to play and thus must struggle forth on merit.

In this case I hope you are right.. and I see your logic..

but in reality we could receive an amount that falls within a large range..

if we do only get money for continued preclinical work.. then the amount would start off small.. but could be attached to milestones.. and could increase as the trials progress.. (hopefully those amounts and conditions would be stated in the Grant and the PR.).. but still on the low end of the range.. the amount of cash could start out small.. OR..

you could be right and we could receive a much larger amount:)

some people might feel better about setting expectations lower..with the upside surprise (and not talking about those who would do this for nefarious reasons.)

for the record.. your logic makes sense.. and I hope that the amount is not just large but huge..

either way I am going to be happy that we get the chance to move forward.
