dan, probably not much pull back in hotter golds, GSS, BGO, WHT ===============================================================
Quite frankly, I was/am still looking/hoping fot the PoG to pull back to the mid lower $350's before pouncing on the juniors that I sold on the way up to $395.
Part of my thinking was/is due to Sept. 26th being the beginning of the fifth and last year of the current Washington Agreement which meant that the CB's could sell another 400 tons in the twelve months that ends 9-26-04. #msg-1499833
That the Swiss CB came out on the 26th and said they would sell some 264 tons of their bullion in the following twelve months only helped support my self serving (so far) premise and I have no doubts that it was some unknown quantity of this 'new' gold that that helped drive the PoG into the ground last Friday.
I just don't think that the "powers that be" can afford to let the PoG break into the 4's right now as that would undoubtedly raise far too many red flags about the truth of our Great Country's phantom economic recovery.
If I'm wrong, and if the PoG soars from these levels, I hold full core positions on quite a few producers and explorers and will consider myself fortunate enough to be in such a win big or win bigger position.
