It really comes down to value creation. The combination of many patents, which allows for an ideal technical solution to a really complicated problem. Is there perhaps another way to solve that same problem? Maybe, but how long will that take to fund, develop, validate, protect with patents, validate again in cadaver labs, document, file for FDA, and bring to market? We know in Titans case that has taken many years to do.
If a biggie wants in on robotics, buying Titan is an incredibly viable option, and we’ve seen now that play out with the largest medical device company in the world partner with Titan.
