#112167 RE: Running Q #112155

Being located near New Orleans, we were the 2nd most active Covid-19 region for March...mostly due to Mardi Gras, and south Louisiana's resistance to "rules" but to "party-on". Beach gatherings are still recommended to adhere to distancing protocol, but what percentage of SC population gets out to the beach? I do believe SC was a bit late with their testing as the kits were difficult to obtain, and the Feds wanted the states to be responsible for obtaining these kits. That being said, why isn't New Jersey, Florida, Mississipp, or Texas...all with miles of coastline and beautiful beaches not experiencing infection increases like SC?

I am a bit embarrassed that a superior product like PCT produces within the state of South Carolina, is not shown to be utilized by the state of SC to keep its Covid-19 numbers at, or near the bottom of the national list. Am I being too harsh?
