I really appreciate every time you respond to me. I will repeat what others have said - - you are the best poster on these boards, so hang in there (of course this is YOUR board!).

I didn't mean in any way to be "disagreeable" with your original post. I think most "western" or American posters really do have a cultural disconnect from Russia and have very little understanding of the actual situations going on. I have the same limitations, but I hope to travel the Volga river some day and see this stuff first hand. Yes, the scum here were the canadian shysters. The Russians just want to capitalize their company. There was an initial impression that they were the next Standard Oil. i think that they are a fair sized oil company with good assets and some political connections that will take this stock over a dollar in the next year. When you think about it what can you ask for?

I loved what you wrote about the udmertneft revival. Personally i was floored to read that Malyshev said that to wish. Still in play? My God. There really must be a connection to rosneft going on.
