Companies should be using the appropriate growing methods for the product's end use. If you want a product that is produced with human consumption in mind from beginning to end, then you do not use the fiber method for many reasons, even beyond cannabinoids.
Companies that are using industrial leftovers are not going to be in the same boat as those truly taking the real seed to sale approach.
