Mr. Bush is wrong on that part.
I disagree with him, and it's time (yesterday) to take off the gloves. The world, however, is not ready, but when ('if' is not even in the equation, it's doomed to happen, unfortunately imo) Europe or the USA suffers a major attack (which will make 9/11 look small) maybe then we'll be ready to play without gloves. Hamas hides behind civilians that support it and Israel has played with gloves. Fanatical Islam knows only the iron fist and significant pressure -- it's been proven. Appeasement and retreating doesn't impress it, it emboldens it. That time will come as it did in WWII with Pearl Harbor. JMO. It's not about rebuilding their country in a matter of years -- most of them live as barbarians. If they can't live in peace (which they don't want, even with each other), then they will get all-out war when the world is tired of suicide bombs and dirty nukes.
We face a plethora of kamikazees in this day in time in the form of people with bomb belts and grenades in hand that will gladly walk into malls, restaurants, etc. One was just caught planning such an incident last week in the USA. We won't be right 100%, and we sure as hell won't be right 100% with the democrats wanting constitutional rights for terrorists. It seems as though that democrats trust terrorists more than their gov't, especially the worthless neohippies that will and want to insure America's demise.
It must be won or our civilization is to enter the dark ages.
It is an idealogy fed by Islam.
