Here's one of many I have been pondering. Concentrating on current/past positions as I am most familiar with them.
U play that hasn't participated in the fall uprising. I have a current position, dime higher than Friday's close. JV with CCO in NWT on Boomerang property. CCO gets 60% by spending $10M. Reconnaissance diamond drilling performed this fall, still awaiting some results on 4 holes as I read it. All drill holes were sampled intensively and submitted for major oxides and trace elements analysis and clay mineralogy. Various petrographic techniques have commenced on high-priority samples and to date, analytical results from two of the six drill holes have been received. Catch is if they don't produce some %-numbers may not tickle market's fancy- as per PXP's latest results.
Management made a few token buys last spring around a buck. 23 Million shares out $9 Million working capital That's 40 cents a share cash.

Uravan Minerals Inc. has filed a notice of intention to make a normal course issuer bid to acquire up to 1,145,000 common shares through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange, representing approximately 5 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares of Uravan, over the course of the next 12 months. Subject to requisite stock exchange approval, purchases under the bid will be eligible to commence on April 15, 2006, and will cease no later than April 15, 2007. Management of Uravan is of the view that the present trading price of the common shares of Uravan on the exchange is at a significant discount to a figure which is reflective of Uravan's value as a whole. This being the case, management is of the view that it is in the best interests of all shareholders of Uravan that shares be acquired by Uravan and returned to treasury, thus increasing Uravan's net asset value per share for remaining shareholders.....
