good grief...the MM that buys/sells for Ameritrade is imho (as well as many others) is shorting the stock, thus the shorting issue...so let me help you with the puzzle: lots of Ameritrade customers want PYPR going back to before 3Q financials were released...Ameritrade tells the MM that they need so many shares....the MM does not have all of the shares but does not want to lose Ameritrade as a customer...b/c they bring in a lot of business, so they short the stock so that Ameritrade is happy and the customers of Ameritrade are happy...the MM that shorted the stock thinks that PYPR is like most all other pinkies and doesnt think he will have too much of a problem and believes it wont be too hard to cover the shares he shorted...everything seems ok right??...wrong...what the MM did not expect was PYPR to continually release more and more good PR's and for that matter report very solid financials (albeit not audited, which I as well as you would like to see)...as a result Ameritrade customers want more of PYPR and the MM isnt about the lose Ameritrade as a customer and thus further shorts the stock so that the MM can keep Ameritrade happy...still not a major problem for the MM, until the divy was announced...and the divy that was announced was not an ordinary one either...a divy that the MM could not possibly cover...so we are now approaching the divy date and the MM is not even close to covering his short position...so the MM notifies Ameritrade/TD Waterhouse, etc and tells them something is fishy with the stock and asks them to please restrict their customers from buying any more shares at this time (so that the MM can cover their shares)...all the while the share price is dropping with the MM that shorted the stock being on the bid pretty much the whole time...which is kinda funny given the fact that Ameritrade/TD, etc are not allowing their customers to buy any shares...well then WHO are they trying to buy shares for....imo (like the rest of this post) is that they are buying to try and cover their own butts....viola, the puzzle is complete, and quite a scandalous one at that...LOL....as I said before this is my opinion based upon what has transpired over the last month or so...I am not asking you to believe it, because you are entitled to your own opinion as well...but since you asked me to show you what I believe....here ya go...
