They never promised dividend news a week ago.

With the transaction process being reinitiated we are pleased to announce that the previously announced dividend will be finalized in the coming days. We expect to have a formal announcement regarding calculations and shareholder minimums to participate next week.

The question is why though, why issue a dividend as you are working on a merger? That makes no sense as the biggest issues in mergers is share structure, so while you are issuing 300M shares since October you are also going to issue a dividend before trying to merge a company in, that makes no sense especially when the share structure is already maxed out
