"He’s trying to bring production back to the states."
The Trump Recession. It's already happening. [...] Trump has said he will revitalize manufacturing in various iterations (i.e. "I’m going to be the greatest jobs president God ever created") and laid out how in his June 28 speech on the economy. P - "I am going to withdraw the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (and) I’m going tell our NAFTA partners that I intend to immediately renegotiate the terms of that agreement to get a better deal for our workers," he said. "I will use every lawful presidential power to remedy trade disputes, including the application of tariffs." P - Guess what? Not only has he failed to deliver, but right now, manufacturing is in the midst of a recession. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=153610839
"Which is good for Canada as well. He cuts red tape in business which helps everyone thrive."
Most regulations exist for good reason. On balance how has Trump done?
Trump Says ‘No President Has Ever Cut So Many Regulations.’ Not Quite.

WASHINGTON — President Trump boasted again on Friday that he has unleashed a roaring American economy by cutting more red tape in the federal bureaucracy than any previous president, the latest attempt to prove he is making good on his campaign pledge to slash industry regulations.
“No president has ever cut so many regulations in their entire term, O.K., as we have cut in less than a year,” Mr. Trump told the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. “And it is my opinion that the regulations had as big an impact as these massive tax cuts that we have given.”
Before taking office, Mr. Trump promised to eliminate at least two federal regulations for each new one that is issued during his administration. In dozens of speeches since, the president largely has stuck to two specific claims about his deregulation record.
Neither is true, according to analysts who study regulations and former federal workers who have administered them.

Deregulatory Successes and a Word of Caution
Mr. Trump’s hyperbole not withstanding, he can claim some deregulatory successes.
Dan Goldbeck of the American Action Forum, a nonprofit conservative group that promotes smaller government, said he sees a more concerted effort to streamline and trim back regulations under Mr. Trump than under many previous administrations.
The pace of consideration for significant regulations also has slowed. The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs reviewed 60 rules that were described as economically significant between Jan. 21, 2017, to Jan. 20, 2018. The last time so few federal rules were reviewed in one-year was 1984, under Mr. Reagan.
Regulations, Going Forward
The federal regulatory system will continue to evolve throughout — and beyond — Mr. Trump’s time in office. So will his own approach, experts said.
Additionally, there is no guarantee that regulations that have been waived will survive legal challenges, nor that they will remain in place in future presidential administrations. Once agencies complete the rule-making process, Ms. Dudley said, “they will likely have to defend their deregulatory action in court, where they may or may not succeed.” Congress also could later decide to reverse Mr. Trump’s actions.
"He defeated isis pretty darn quick." LOLOL that's one of your more ridiculous echoes of Trump's crap.

"He doesn’t want endless needless foreign wars." Who is?
"He’s not beholden to anyone which is why the media and the left hate him so much." That's just silly. Take Deutsche Bank for one.
Actions, not words, tell Trump’s political money story

Rhetorically, he talked a liberal’s game. In reality, he’s like most conservatives.
Actions, not words, tell Trump’s political money story Introduction “I don’t need anybody’s money.” “I’m using my own money.” “I’m not using the lobbyists.” “I’m not using donors.” “I don’t care.” “I’m really rich.”
