I don't have a wireline phone at home (I have two cell phones, plus my wife has one and my daughter has one)
One of my cell phones is actually a Handspring Treo, which I use to check email over GPRS while I'm not in the office (soon 3G. We just got a contract to design and deploy UMTS in Singapore)
I have a linksys wireless access point and a 3com 802.11b card in my laptop so I can work at the pool (actually, so I can be at the pool when I work, subtle but crucial difference)
So, yes, I would say I place a high value on portability.
