What if the attitude of the doctors at the time of one of them coming up with the idea of washing their hands before delivering a baby hasn't changed AT ALL in current times, with regard to new discoveries/observations.
What if we are just as blind and stupid and dogmatic now as then?
Sure, we look back and call those with that attitude back then, where they excommunicated that doctor, ignorant and stupid.....
But what about human nature has changed? NOTHING.....lol
