From what I understand all storage facilities around the globe are full . They are using ship tankers to store it off shore as well and even refineries are refusing delivery to process.
They could shut off production for months until demand started to get back to supply levels.
We don't have a clue what is going on with the virus yet as we are only speculating and making wild predictions that may or may not come out accurate.
As far as numbers of cases that too is very misleading as no one knows how many people will get it and never be recorded and heal with no problems.
It could take years and one thing is very certain the longer people are forced to stay in their homes the worse this will get.
Then there is what happens when we think we can come out from hiding and it will all just go away? Not trying to predict gloom and doom the media has already done that and sent everyone into panic mode! A Big Bad azz storm that we will all be glad when it passes!
