Keep in mind the major side effect of concern of these malaria drugs are that they can cause arrhythmia. People who are more susceptible to the respiratory issues caused by covid are, you guessed it, more susceptible to arrythmias. Different populations are going to need different drugs. I wish people would just ignore anyone who tries to act like two drugs can't coexist in the same world and be successful. It's just inane probably the weakest argument the rat pack has tried.

No. That’s not what the malaria drug does. It opens the channels for Zn to flood the lung tissues, and the Zinc is what specifically kills the virus. The MOA of Hydroxychloroquine and Leronlimab are completely different.

The zinc basically blocks a protein replicase needed for the virus to replicate.
