$SNPW competitor of a sorts, on the Med Waste plant email I got today....

I have done business with these folks for years.

You all may find the Landfill vs waste to energy comparison interesting. Landfill is not the way to go anymore. Especially for #COVID19 hospital masks, gowns, any linen they do not sterilize and wash?? I have not had the unpleasant need to deal with Medical waste, I deal with Industrial.....But here is the story of they are pushing their version of what $SNPW is building as the way to go versus landfills. $SNPW's version, using Pyrolysis, is newer and different, but does the same thing. $SNPW may be way more cost effective and have lower capital cost. Steam Turbines are not cheap!!!

Their Waste to energy is older tech, they chop and burn the waste in a negative pressure grinder/ combustion chamber (no emissions or odors same as SNPW) and generate heat to heat boilers to make steam to run a steam turbines to make electric power. The exhaust gases are scrubbed and cleaned after a second stage combustion at Stericycle.

$SNPW does not need that, but would have something more like a car exhaust Cat Converter I would think to clean up the 4 cycle engine exhaust, and maybe an HCL-scrubber before the generator engine sees the syn gas, when they handle PVC plastics like PCV-gloves, and the PVC makes HCL-acid gases during pyrolysis.

As I recall they have deal with a firm to capture (scrub and convert) the HCl acid gases to make HCl-acid for sale, also known as hydrochloric or Muriatic (for swimming pools) acid.

OMG, that dangerous combustion HCL-gas is used to pH adjust swimming pool water? Gahhd, please says its no so? LOLOL

$SNPW is using Pyrolysis to make syn gas fuel to run what I would call a 4 cycle gas engine, like a propane or Nat Gas truck engine to run the generators, based on the photos and videos I have seen.

Good Pyrolysis link of process diagrams and details on all the variations being used.
