ABT can manufacture 50K of these tests per day.

Seriously, if this five minute test could be mass produced by other factories as well to speed up production and be adapted to have negligible false negatives, couldn't it be relied upon to enlist
health workers in front of buildings to test and certify the population for reentry into permissible productive designated pathways, necessary for economic recovery, while rest await slower testing to recertify or quarantine?

ABT won’t garner sales and profits from COVID-19 testing anywhere near commensurate with today’s increase in market cap, but this episode will certainly enhance ABT’s corporate reputation.
