As I mentioned in a previous post, I have punchd the the trade signals into AmiBroker which allows me to do a fair amount of analysis on them. One thing I did was plot a chart comparing the equity curves if the signals had been used on the different indices tracked by various Profund/Rydex/Direxion 2x funds. I would post it but I don't see a way - if anyone knows a site where I can post it and provide a URL here, I will be happy to do it.
Also, in my limited development experience, it seems to me that sometimes the best returns can be made by using one ticker for the signals and then using these signals to trade other tickers, rather than the signals generated by these tickers themselves. I would be interested in hearing what the more experienced developers think about this idea. Thanks very much!
