I emailed Dr. Ronco about this, even suggesting that he representing both companies suggested a conflict of interest. In addition, I asked him if he thought that the HA380 was superior to Cytosorb since this was his most recent paper regarding extracorporeal Therapies.

His response:

"My intent is not commercial. I think both devices do what i think is
useful"

If China was able to obtain FDA approval for the HA380 wouldn’t that open up the US market for Cytosorb cartridges? There are plenty of indications to use the filters on. I am not to concerned if there are several companies selling them. Maybe this would allow us to finally sell them here?
