Well, 45 days was YESTERDAY.

The time of "impact" will be March 19th at $:30pm EST...


When the Olympic torch is first lit, it doesn't mean sports activities are to immediately commence....

It marks the beginning of the torch relay...

Which takes a few weeks (historically) to reach the stadium.

Once the stadium torch is lit...

Then the Opening Ceremony can begin...

Not before.
