There's absolutely no denying his strategy and the way he currently runs the company is unorthodox. We know where your heart is, techmover, all these years. This is my first Pinky and there's no comparison with how these companies differ from companies on the big board. But, that's why we're here! Right! For the huge risk-reward Factor. Big board companies are driven by guidance, quarterly growth potential, forecast and most of all shareholders, primarily because they sit on the board, no shareholders have a voice on the pinky board. But as Mark has stated, he'd like to move to the big board. It's a totally different way to run the company than they currently do. To immerse themselves on the big board, imo Mark the scientist considers continuing the run the company in that environment he will get devoured. Although Mark's skill-set is Superior in the lab, imo he would need to acquire some businessmen brainiacs to help him in the boardroom. That being said, it'll be interesting to see which of Mark's "Top Priorities" have been implemented behind the scenes and what the new letter to shareholders after they merge will look like.
