Livingston County Health Department officials say there are no suspected cases of coronavirus in the county, as of Wednesday, but that three county residents are being monitored under self-quarantine.
The information comes on the heels of the state's announcement of Michigan's first two presumed cases of coronavirus late Tuesday.
Livingston County Medical Director, Dr. Donald Lawrenchuk, said three county residents are among the more than 400 individuals in the state who are being monitored for signs and symptom of COVID-19, the disease caused by novel coronavirus.
"All three have no signs or symptoms," Lawrenchuk said. "They are self-quarantining themselves at home. They are cooperating."
He said all three recently traveled to areas impacted by the coronavirus.
